John Cronin to speak at S3 Summit
Executive Chairman of CyanConnode John Cronin will present “The smart city concept should be practical, doable and affordable” at the Global Summit on Smart, Secure and Sustainable Cities on Monday 18th July in Windsor.
The Global Summit on Smart, Secure and Sustainable Cities is a summit where decision makers, industry and other stakeholders from around the world will gather to discuss these issues. The focus for this year’s summit will be on the “Opportunities and Challenges in India” in the context of smart cities, energy, water and waste management.
The Summit is organised by India Smart Grid Forum (ISGF), a PPP initiative of the Ministry of Power, Government of India, along with India News, the country’s leading Hindi News channel, and Knowledge Partner, Independent Power Producers Association of India (IPPAI), the oldest private power association of India.
CyanConnode is currently working on three projects in India and has proven a leadership position in the smart metering and smart lighting markets. The company has established a local eco-system of partners to support the transfer of skills and experience to facilitate customer ownership and generate local wealth. Its technology has been developed to address the requirements of utilities in emerging economies, including the reduction of aggregate technical and commercial losses, as well as improving peak load and power outage management.
