CyanConnode (AIM:CYANCONNODE.L), the integrated system and software design company delivering mesh based flexible wireless solutions for utility metering and lighting control, has received a Platinum award for Best Smart Grid Project in India by Industry at the ISGF Innovation Awards.

The ISGF Innovation Awards 2018 is a global event that focuses and celebrates personalities, projects and products from utilities and technology companies that have set a new benchmark in Smart Grid and Smart City Segments.

CyanConnode was nominated for its IoT communication platform, enabling Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) for a smart metering deployment at Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation Ltd (CESC), Mysore. The public utility was the first of 14 smart grid pilots to be rolled out in 2017 under the Smart Grid Task Force in India. The AMI solution featured 21,824 smart meters with associated hardware and software to enable remote communication between meter and utility and was supplied end-to-end by CyanConnode.

The ISGF Innovation Awards are designed to recognise individuals and organizations to encourage scaling up of ground breaking innovations. The Best Smart Grid Project in India (Industry) award is designed to recognise holistic implementation, integration, and impact coming from deployed solutions.
